Baby Blankets are one of the most given gifts that anyone is given when they are anticipating a new infant. Many times, the new parents are showered with blankets at baby showers and it is not uncommon to end up with far more blankets than you can truly use with your infant. There’s no reason to turn down a new blanket though. There are quite a few things that you can do with a baby blanket.
You could possibly use an extra baby blanket as a wall hanging. Considering that a lot of baby blankets are decorated with bright colors and entertaining images that little ones enjoy, that are the perfect way to add extra fun and color to the nursery. They also are useful in helping to stop drafts that could make baby cold.
Another great use for an additional baby blanket is to merely use the blanket to add a bit of color to the nursery. You can hang the blanket over the back of a couch to bring some more color in and tie the seat into the room’s theme for example. This also gives you an extra blanket to use in case the baby falls asleep when you’re cuddling with him when in the chair or if you need to get one real quick during the night.

A lot of newborns do not like bright light, and including a baby blanket is the perfect way to enable your infant to get the sunlight she should have without getting too much. The daylight will be filtered through the blanket, and child will get to get pleasure from the brilliant colors made even brighter by the sun filtering through the blanket. Adding a blanket to the windowpane will also help safeguard baby from any chilly drafts.

Adding a baby blanket and tucking it close to your baby when he is in the stroller is a good way to use the blanket and keep your youngster content and snug.
Animals are good for little ones, and quite a few people worry about introducing their dogs and cats to their infants. A baby blanket can help relieve the transition. Merely wrap your child in a blanket, and after that, once the child’s odor is on the blanket, add it to your dog’s bed. The dog will rapidly get used to the babies smell, and you can relax knowing your child won’t be seen as an intruder.
